Victoria Legal Aid (VLA) follows all Victorian laws when handling personal information.

Freedom of information
Members of the public can seek access to documents held by VLA or to change the personal information that we hold, by making a request under Victoria’s freedom of information laws.

Privacy
We handle all personal information in accordance with Victoria’s privacy laws.

Whistleblower information
We are committed to the aims and objectives of the Whistleblowers Protection Act 2001. We do not tolerate improper conduct by our employees, officers or members, nor reprisals against those who come forward to disclose such conduct.
