The Victoria Legal Aid (VLA) Board is pleased to confirm that Louise Glanville has been reappointed as chief executive officer (CEO) for a further five-year term from October 2023.

Louise’s reappointment comes after a very comprehensive review process by the Board earlier in the year. The appointment has also been approved by the Victorian Attorney-General, Jaclyn Symes MP.

'Louise's reappointment is a testament to her contributions, leadership, and achievements over the past four and a half years particularly during a time of uncertainty during the COVID-19 pandemic response,' said VLA Board Chairperson Bill Jaboor.

'On behalf of the Board, I would like to express our appreciation to Louise for her efforts and leadership during her time with VLA.

'We know Louise is committed to leading our service expansion and financial sustainability challenges, and importantly continuing the organisation's journey towards reconciliation and inclusion,' said Bill.
