Service delivery changes for the regions

A review of our regional duty lawyer service delivery was recently undertaken, and following the review, a number of service delivery changes will be adopted.

A review of our regional duty lawyer service delivery was recently undertaken, considering current staff resourcing across the regions.

Following this review, the following service delivery changes will be adopted from 1 July 2023:

  • Ararat Court to be covered by our Ballarat office
  • Maryborough Court to be covered by our Bendigo office
  • Swan Hill Court to be jointly covered by our Bendigo and Mildura offices.

The service delivery change improves the alignment of our regional offices with satellite courts in their regions, and also takes into consideration the new Bendigo Court, which will be serviced by our expanded Bendigo office.
