About our child support services
Some of our child support information services are available to everyone, while other, more intensive services are offered to people who need it the most. We will assess the service you need.
We may provide you with legal information relating to your query or refer you to other organisations that can help.
Note that telephone call-back and appointment services are limited.
Eligible people may be offered a free 30-minute appointment for further assessment or advice.
To enquire about eligibility for a child support appointment, please complete the form.
You will get information in response to your enquiry, usually within three business days (excluding weekends and public holidays).
What our child support lawyers can help you with
Our child support lawyers can help with legal problems about:
- getting or paying child support
- paternity testing for child support applications
- changes of assessment
- maintenance for children over 18 or spousal maintenance.
Our priorities are to improve the financial security of the parents, the wellbeing of the children, and to help stop family violence from continuing after separation.
This service is provided independently of Services Australia (Child Support)(opens in a new window).
