Our First Nations employment strategy
The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employment strategy 2020–25 reflects our genuine commitment to the principles of reconciliation and self-determination. It supports our Reconciliation Action Plan 2023–25.
Our priorities are:
- Increase the number of First Nations staff at Victoria Legal Aid.
- Ensure that we have a culturally safe and inclusive workplace.
- Improve the retention and professional development of First Nations staff.
