What we will do with your information
- We will review the details you have provided. Your information will help ensure grants of legal aid go only to people who meet our grants guidelines.
- We may contact you for further information if you provide your contact details.
- We may seek further information from the legally aided person or from their lawyer.
- We will not say where the complaint came from. However, it is often possible for a legally aided person to figure this out.
Information we cannot reveal
The law prevents us from giving you any information about another person’s application for legal aid. We cannot tell you the results of our investigation. We cannot tell you whether or not another person receives legal aid.
