We are committed to ensuring the privacy of your personal information.

This page explains how we collect, use and store your information when you apply for a position with us.

Types of information we collect

  • our recruitment management system
  • your nominated referees
  • recruitment agencies.

This personal information may include:

  • your name, address, contact details (such as phone numbers and email addresses)
  • skills and other employment history details
  • academic transcripts or qualifications
  • referee details (as provided)
  • information collected during the interview process
  • other miscellaneous information you disclose
  • criminal records (only applicable to specific roles)
  • pre-employment misconduct declarations.

How we use this information

We will only use your personal information during the recruitment and selection process.

We may:

  • Share this information internally with relevant hiring managers and panel members involved in the recruitment process.
  • Disclose your personal and sensitive information to police organisations, your referees, and other persons you mention in your application.
  • Share your information to an external party or provider if they are helping us during the recruitment process. We may also share this information if required by law.

How your information is stored and for how long

Once a successful applicant is chosen, your information will be held and stored in a secure location.

If you are:

  • A successful applicant, we will retain your information on file.
  • An unsuccessful applicant, we will retain your information for six months, after which time we will destroy your information.
